Hyundai’s Genesis brand has finally made its U.S. debut at the 2016 North American International Auto Show with the G90 sedan. The Hyundai Equus−which entered the automaker’s lineup in 2010−will be replaced by the G90. The G90 will be the flagship vehicle for Hyundai’s stand-alone Genesis brand. The sedan “provides strong indications of the brand’s ‘Athletic Elegance’ design identity that will be evident in future Genesis products,” according to Hyundai. Buyers will have two options as to what engine will be powering the luxury sedan. The twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V-6 engine delivers 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque, while the 5.0-liter V-8 engine generates an output of 420 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. CardinaleWay Hyundai hopes to have the opportunity to showcase the G90 on our showroom floor in Corona.
