The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe is a compact crossover that provides owners with a spacious cabin and a long list of standard features. The Santa Fe is easy on the eyes, too. Whether you choose one of the two gasoline engines or the hybrid system, you’ll get excellent fuel economy. There are plenty of safety features to protect the driver and passengers. Add Hyundai’s incredible warranty, and you’ll understand why the Santa Fe is such a popular model at dealers like the Fontana Hyundai dealership. The Santa Fe gets a refresh for 2021, with more aggressive front-end styling and interior enhancements. There are three new engine offerings and new available driver-assistance features, such as a semi-autonomous driving mode. There’s a larger standard 8-inch infotainment display, an available 10.3-inch infotainment display, an optional 12.3-inch digital gauge display, and standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. According to the Fontana Hyundai dealer, the new top-line Calligraphy trim comes with standard all-wheel drive, exclusive exterior accents, quilted leather upholstery, a color head-up display and more upmarket interior flourishes.

Fontana Hyundai Automotive Press Praise

The automotive media gives the 2021 Santa Fe high marks. Kelley Blue Book writes: “Hyundai calls the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe a refresh, but there is so much more to it than that. While it’s easy to tell the difference between the 2021 and the 2020 models by looking at the new grille, Hyundai has also redesigned the interior with more premium amenities and introduces a new upscale Calligraphy model. ... [T]he updated Santa Fe has become even more competitive with vehicles like the Honda CR-V, Toyota Venza, and Nissan Murano.”

The Limited and Calligraphy trims are powered by a new 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that’s good for 277 hp and 311 lb-ft, a considerable boost compared with the previous model’s 235 hp and 260 lb-ft, teamed to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The new Santa Fe hybrid employs a hybrid system that features a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that works with a pair of electric motors and a six-speed automatic transmission. Together, the system puts out a total of 225 hp. All-wheel drive is standard.
