Riverside Hyundai Drivers Take Over Your Commute With A New 2017 Hyundai Accent
The 2017 Hyundai Accent is the perfect small car. It offers an ideal mixture of style, performance and comfort. The Accent is very popular at our Riverside area Hyundai dealer; that’s due to the model’s versatility. The Accent can be had as either a four-door sedan or hatchback. Both feature eye-catching styling. The Accent sedan has lots of cargo space in the trunk, while the hatchback model provides the ultimate in utility.
The Accent is competitively priced, but that doesn’t mean it’s an econobox. You may be surprised to learn the Accent is actually one of the fastest cars in its class. Seating is very comfortable, and there’s ample head- and legroom in the front. The Hyundai is an efficient and reliable vehicle that’s ideal for students or anyone who needs to drive around town.
We mentioned that the Accent is popular with Riverside Hyundai drivers. If you’re wondering how the automotive press rates this model, read what Edmunds wrote: "Just as the market grows for ever-roomier sedans and crossovers, so does the demand for smartly packaged small cars that can perform tricks like their larger counterparts. The 2017 Hyundai Accent is a top choice in this category thanks to a satisfying combination of performance, utility, comfort and style.”
Your Carpool From Riverside to Orange County Just Got More Comfortable
The 2017 Hyundai Accent sedan and hatchback models both seat five passengers. Due to typically long commutes, Riverside Hyundai drivers will also enjoy three trim levels on offer: SE, Value Edition and Sport. Sedans are available in SE and Value Edition trims, while sedans are offered in SE and Sport.
All Accent models are powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 137 horsepower and 123 lb.-ft. of torque, paired to a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic. Front-wheel-drive is standard across the board.
The base SE sedan trim comes with a six-speaker audio system, satellite radio, a USB port and keyless entry. SE hatchback gets a standard rear wiper. Hatchback models with the automatic can get optional steering wheel-mounted cruise control.
New for 2017, the Value Edition sedan is equipped with 16-inch wheels, automatic transmission, steering wheel-mounted cruise control and audio controls, a front center armrest storage compartment and Bluetooth.
The top of the line Accent Sport hatchback has the same features as the Value Edition, and heated side mirrors, fog lights, premium cloth upholstery, and a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel.
On the inside, the Hyundai Accent’s controls are logically located and easy to use. Blue backlight buttons and knobs come in handy when driving after dark. Sedan models have a full 13.7-cubic-feet of cargo space in the trunk, with 60/40-split-folding rear seats that will accommodate large items. Fold the seats and the hatchback model gets an impressive 47.5 cubic feet of space to store belongings or carry enough groceries for a large family. There’s almost as much storage space as you’d find in a small SUV!
Safety equipment that comes standard on the 2017 Hyundai Accent includes six airbags, antilock brakes (discs in the front, drums in the rear), electronic brake-force distribution, brake assist, electronic stability control, traction control, auto-on daytime running lights, headlights, a rollover protection system, child safety locks, auto-leveling headlights and lane departure warning.
